Employment Positions:

Behavioral Health Clinician

Position Summary:

Master’s level Behavioral Clinicians at Wellsprings Wellness provide a continuum of outreach and office or community-based services to individuals, children, adults, and families. These professionals will work in client's homes, schools, office and other community settings. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative clinical team. Our team provides clients with a full range of counseling services for their mental health and substance abuse recovery needs, including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, and mental illness.

Education & Licensing Requirements:

  • Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or a Master’s degree with a concentration in one of the areas of Counseling such as: Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Rehabilitation Counseling required.

  • LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT or MFTA license preferred, but license eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy.

  • Conduct client intake sessions.

  • Facilitate crisis intervention.

  • Conduct case management.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment.

  • Attend monthly in-service trainings.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of patient needs when devising and implementing treatment.

  • Ability to identify problem behaviors, provide advice and track development effectively.

  • Experience or understanding of under-served populations, a plus.

Psychiatrist

Position Summary:

Doctorate Level Psychiatrists at Wellsprings Wellness provide outpatient psychiatric services to individuals, including children and adults. These professionals will work in our office setting with a team of healthcare professionals to provide on-site services. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative team. Our agency provides clients with a full range of medical, psychiatric, counseling , and case management services “under one roof” utilizing an integrated care model.

Education & Licensing Requirements
Minimum Educational requirement: Degree Level: Doctorate; Degree Fields: Psychiatry, Board Certified in Psychiatry;

  • Kentucky State License;

  • Current DEA licensure/certification (preferred).

Provider Duties

  • Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic services;

  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment;

  • Facilitate crisis intervention;

  • Attend monthly in-service training.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to communicate well with all clients;

  • Ability to collaborate and work well with all staff associated with client care;

  • Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of patient needs when planning and implementing treatment;

  • Ability to identify problem behaviors, provide advice and track development effectively;

  • Experience or understanding of underserved populations, a plus.

Targeted Case Manager

Position Summary:

Bachelor’s level Targeted Case Manager at Wellsprings Wellness provide a continuum of outreach and office or community-based services to individuals, children, adults, and families. These professionals will work in client's homes, schools, office and other community settings. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative clinical team. Our team provides clients with a full range of services for their mental health and substance abuse recovery needs, including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, and mental illness.

 

Education & Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s level degree in psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling or other human services field

  •  One year post-graduate experience in the human services field

  • KY required TCM Trainings within six months of providing services to clients, preferred but not mandatory

  • Valid KY drivers license and reliable transportation

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This position provides Targeted Case Management services to seriously and persistently mentally ill consumers with goals of reducing days of hospitalization, increasing independence, strengthening social supports and emphasizing educational and vocational efforts.

  • Such services include; assessments, service planning, linking, monitoring psychiatric status, support network building, problem resolution, obtaining resources, education, skill building and advocacy.

  • Conduct client intake sessions

  • Facilitate crisis intervention

  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment

  • Attend monthly in-service trainings

 

Experience & Skills:

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:

Masters Level Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at Wellsprings Wellness provide outpatient psychiatric services to individuals, including children and adults. These professionals will work in our office setting with a team of healthcare professionals to provide on-site services. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative team. Our agency provides clients with a full range of medical, psychiatric, counseling , and case management services “under one roof” utilizing an integrated care model.

Education & Licensing Requirements

  • Master’s degree (APRN); Degree Fields: Psychiatry, Nurse Practitioner graduate program- Must have previously passed the state administered nurse practitioner licensing exam(APRN). Board Certified in Psychiatry;

  • Kentucky State License;

  • Current DEA certification (preferred).

Practitioner Duties
